What is Eurostar?

Eurostar is the international high-speed passenger train service that travels from London Waterloo International and Ashford International in Kent direct to continental Europe. It goes through the Channel Tunnel for twenty minutes.

Why travel Eurostar?

Within half an hour, you’ve checked in. Within two hours, you’re in another country. And despite us having provided this unique service for over a decade, the novelty still hasn’t worn off.

Experience Eurostar

It's different on Eurostar. That's because your journey takes you right from the heart of one great European city directly to another. No lengthy transfers. No crowded airport check-in areas. No worries! But it's not just our city centre to city centre routes that make Eurostar so appealing. The beautifully appointed interiors of our recently re-fitted high-speed trains mean you can relax in comfort and stylish surroundings from the moment you first step on board and settle down in your reserved seat. Feel like stretching your legs? Take a stroll for as long as the mood takes you. Tempted by some refreshments? Enjoy high quality drinks and snacks in the Standard Class Bar-Buffet carriages or fine food and Champagne served to your seat in Leisure Select and Business Premier. Chat with your friends or catch up on work.

On Eurostar, getting there is a pleasure in itself.

Eurostar puts Europe on your doorstep

These are our core destinations – we can take you to the heart of every single one.

Paris, Brussels, Lille, Disneyland Resort Paris

By travelling on Eurostar you can also connect with the French and Belgian railway systems, opening up destinations all over Europe.  Eurostar stops at Lille, a major terminal for the French high-speed TGV trains so Eurostar passengers can easily connect with trains to destinations such as Lyon, Avignon, Nice, Tours, Lyon, Poitiers and Dijon. You can also change at Brussels Midi/Zuid for other stations in Belgium, The Netherlands and Germany including Bruges, Antwerp, Gent, Namur, Amsterdam, The Hague, Rotterdam and Cologne.  In addition you can also travel direct to the gates of Disneyland Paris on the special Eurostar Disney train.
